SHOPPING IN MADRID?

It can be one never ending affair. You could go broke, you may spend your entire holiday shopping and you may be utterly perplexed as to what you would pick if you are on a stringent budget. There are a few cities in the world where you can simply go ballistic with your shopping spree. Madrid is certainly one of those few.

You can combine Madrid sightseeing with brisk shopping as you would find a mall here or there and then you have the local shops and flea markets. Become a Madrid personal shopper by exploring these hotspots.

  • The Centro Comercial Príncipe Pío is a shopping haven. It is kind of the central junction in west Madrid. This assures you brisk connectivity courtesy the bus line and railway station. At Centro Comercial Principe Pio you would get Zara, H&M, Stradivarius, Mango, Eurekakids, Tapioca, Tintoretto, Verde, Bottega, Natura, Pull & Bear, Parfois and Colonel Oisho among others. There’s a plethora of shops selling cosmetics, gifts and you can also let your hair down at the nightclubs in the mall after shopping in Madrid.
  • Centro Comercial ABC Serrano or ABC Serrano Commercial Centre is another hotspot. It is one of the more upscale places in Madrid and that is not a surprise since it is in Salamanca, a very wealthy district in the city. The neighborhood is like the strip of Madrid where you get sophisticated products in classy stores. You would get everything from Doble Aa to Musgo and Minority or Boch among others.
  • Centro Comercial Moda Shopping Mall is for any and sundry. It has some more affordable brands like Benetton, Trucco and Q-ellos among others. It is one of the largest shopping hubs, not just in Madrid but for any major world city. You would get a taste of all the latest in fashion, not only pertaining to clothes or apparel but also home furnishing and décor.
  • Madrid Xanadu Shopping Mall & Madrid SnowZone Ski Slope is more a part of Madrid sightseeing than shopping but you can do both. You can indulge in some fun and recreation while you explore some of the most amazing retail stores. There are more than two hundred retail stores in the establishment housing almost every major brand in the world. This hub is home to more than thirty eateries including bars and the parking space is sufficient for more than seven thousand vehicles, just to give you an idea of its expansive presence.
