Your day-by-day itinerary
This proposed route is tailored to your dates and interests. The written quote confirms which guiding, tickets, meals and transfers are included. Independent-day suggestions are optional.

DAY 1
Arrive in Bordeaux
Arrive in Bordeaux and meet your driver at the airport, station or other central location confirmed in your travel documents. Continue to your selected four-star or higher accommodation, check in when your room is ready and take time to settle in after the journey.
Keep the remaining hours light. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a gentle introduction to the Garonne waterfront and historic center or stay close to the hotel for a quiet meal. Organized sightseeing starts after you have had time to rest. International travel before arrival is separate from the hotel-night count shown for this route.
Overnight: Bordeaux. Hotel night 1 of 10.

DAY 2
Bordeaux with a local guide
Meet your guide for a walk through Bordeaux, connecting the city's squares, historic streets and riverfront. Learn how trade and wine shaped the city, with time to look beyond the main facades and settle into the rhythm of your first full day.
After the guided introduction, keep the afternoon open for lunch, browsing or another walk beside the Garonne. Restaurant suggestions and additional visits will follow your interests. Your confirmed program sets the guiding duration and any included admissions, without committing you to a packed day.
Overnight: Bordeaux. Hotel night 2 of 10.

DAY 3
Bordeaux vineyards and regional wine
Travel into Bordeaux's surrounding wine country for the vineyard visits selected in your proposal. Learn about the local growing conditions and production process, with tasting arrangements tailored to your interests. Time between visits gives you a chance to see the countryside rather than rush through a long list of estates.
Pause for lunch at the location agreed with your travel expert, then return to Bordeaux. Estate access, tasting fees, meals and driving arrangements depend on the final program. Non-drinking guests are welcome to discuss alternatives when the day is planned.
Overnight: Bordeaux. Hotel night 3 of 10.

DAY 4
Bordeaux food and a slower city day
Enjoy a day in Bordeaux with room for local food, neighborhood streets and independent time. Start with a leisurely breakfast, then follow suggestions around the center or riverfront. A relaxed lunch offers a different perspective from the previous vineyard day.
If you prefer another organized experience, discuss a food walk, cooking activity or extra wine-country visit before the trip is quoted. These additions remain optional until listed in your proposal. Otherwise, use the day to explore at your own pace and prepare for the next stage of the route.
Overnight: Bordeaux. Hotel night 4 of 10.

DAY 5
Bordeaux to Bayeux
Check out after breakfast and continue from Bordeaux to Bayeux using the rail and transfer combination selected for your dates. Your travel documents confirm the departure point, timing, baggage arrangements and any station or airport transfers. We allow practical time for the journey rather than adding a major sightseeing commitment before check-in.
Settle into your accommodation in Bayeux, then enjoy an independent introduction to the historic center and quieter Normandy streets. Pause for lunch or dinner as the timing allows, and leave room to rest before the next full day of sightseeing. The final proposal confirms the transport and services included on this travel day.
Overnight: Bayeux. Hotel night 5 of 10.

DAY 6
Normandy's D-Day coastline
Spend the day with a guide exploring selected D-Day sites along the Normandy coast. The program focuses on the beaches, memorials and historical context most relevant to your interests. Distances between sites are part of the planning, so the day allows time for explanation and reflection.
Return to Bayeux after the coastal visits. Your proposal confirms the route, guiding and admissions, including any museum stops. We keep the tone respectful and avoid promising every landing beach in one day. Comfortable footwear and layers help with exposed coastal locations.
Overnight: Bayeux. Hotel night 6 of 10.

DAY 7
Bayeux and regional Normandy
Stay based in Bayeux for a gentler day between the longer journeys. Walk through the historic center, enjoy the local streets and choose a place for lunch. A regional food experience or additional historical visit is an option to discuss with your travel expert.
The day leaves space to follow an interest raised during the coastal tour or simply enjoy the town. Individual attractions and exhibitions will be checked for your dates before any admission is added to the quote. The evening remains free rather than tied to a group schedule.
Overnight: Bayeux. Hotel night 7 of 10.

DAY 8
Bayeux to Paris
Check out after breakfast and continue from Bayeux to Paris using the transfer route confirmed in your proposal. Your travel documents confirm the departure point, timing, baggage arrangements and any station or airport transfers. We allow practical time for the journey rather than adding a major sightseeing commitment before check-in.
A seasonal Giverny stop is planned around the day's transport and garden opening. Outside the visitor season, agree an alternative before quotation. Continue to Paris and settle into your hotel, leaving the evening open. The final proposal confirms the transport and services included on this travel day.
Overnight: Paris. Hotel night 8 of 10.

DAY 9
Paris landmarks and a Seine cruise
Meet your local guide for an introduction to Paris through its riverfront, avenues and historic neighborhoods. Follow a route shaped around the sights and walking pace agreed in your proposal, with time to stop for photographs and understand how the city developed around the Seine.
Later, see the city from the water on a planned Seine cruise. The sailing, boarding point and any meal arrangements will be confirmed for your dates. Leave the remaining hours open for a café stop or an independent walk rather than filling the day with another long excursion.
Overnight: Paris. Hotel night 9 of 10.

DAY 10
The Louvre and time in central Paris
Visit the Louvre with a local guide, focusing on a manageable selection of collections instead of attempting the entire museum. Your interests help shape the visit, from painting and sculpture to the palace itself. Allow time for the museum's entry procedures and security checks.
Afterward, enjoy central Paris at your own pace. The Tuileries and nearby arcades offer places for a walk, lunch or a break before returning to your hotel. Timed admissions, guiding arrangements and transport are confirmed in your written proposal. Any additional museum visit is optional.
Overnight: Paris. Hotel night 10 of 10.

DAY 11
Depart from Paris
Enjoy breakfast as your departure time allows, check out and meet your driver at the location confirmed in your travel documents. Continue to the airport, station or onward connection specified in your proposal, leaving appropriate time for check-in and departure procedures.
Your stay ends after the hotel nights listed for this route. If you prefer a later departure, extra night or extension, discuss the arrangements before booking so we plan the accommodation and transfers together. International flights, meals after check-out and additional services are separate unless expressly included in your written quote.
Departure day. No additional hotel night included.

Hotels, transport and pace
We confirm hotel names, room categories and transport before booking. Tell us about mobility needs, luggage and preferred walking distances during planning. Seasonal boats, mountain services and weather-dependent activities require date-specific checks.
Planning your trip
Is this a scheduled group departure?
This is a customized package with dates and services agreed for your party. Your proposal specifies whether individual activities use a private guide, a shared tour or independent time. No fixed group size or guaranteed departure is implied.
What does the price depend on?
Your travel dates, party size, room requirements, hotel choices and confirmed services determine the quote. Pricing is on request. We do not present historical client costs as current rates.
When should we contact you?
Contact us at least two months before departure. Six to eight months gives more choice for accommodation and popular experiences. We arrange complete packages of at least seven nights rather than individual services.
Are museums, cruises and special visits guaranteed?
Tickets and seasonal services depend on availability. We confirm the chosen visits and transport before booking, and agree alternatives when a service does not operate on your dates.
Where do we meet our guides and drivers?
Meeting points are your hotel lobby, the arrival terminal, station or a central location specified in your final travel documents. Exact meeting details follow the confirmed arrangements.
